World's Best Snowshoe Harness
Installation Instructions
1. As you will notice the harness consists of a plastic strap which goes around the back of your foot, two polyester straps with spring buckles, and a plastic block where the bolt goes through to create the hinge.

2. The plastic block is in two pieces held together with 2 screws. The thin plastic piece will go under the snowshoe.

3. Locate the toe hole on your snowshoe. At the bottom of the toe hole is the main cord of the snowshoe. This is usually wrapped with several layers of rawhide or other material. This will be your hinge point.

4. Place the block on the topside of the snowshoe over the main cord of the shoe and screw in the thin part of the block under to "sandwich the snowshoe". You only need two screws, but there are three holes. Make sure there is a screw in the front hole of the block. If your snowshoe webbing is too thick you may need longer screws. Any type screw will work such as sheet rock screws. You should tighten down the screws securely to the point that the thin plastic strip is bent. It will not break.

5. Now attach the other block the same way. When determining how far apart to place the blocks, take a boot, which you will wear and put it in the harness. The harness work best when blocks are set close to the edges of your boot.

6. Once the harness is installed, simply open the spring buckles and insert your foot. The buckles are then tightened and you are ready to go.
